The volcano 🌋 exploded 💥 on the Caribbean Island of St. Vincent on April 9, 2021. While the volcano was dormant for decades, it started showing signs of activity in December. An evacuation order was issued less than a day before the eruption causing many Vincentians to scramble to find alternative food.
